THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CHANGED NAMES This barbecue old-timer is as popular at lunch for local business folks as it is on Sundays, when families drop in for a midday meal. Service is cafeteria-style---with delicious foods on display in all their glory. O’Brien’s is best known for its ribs, but we have found them inconsistent. The fork-tender smoky beef brisket, though, has always been excellent. All the barbecuing is authentic hickory-smoking, Texas-style. There are plenty of sides to choose from, but the barbecue beans and coleslaw pair best with any barbecue meal. Desserts are not homemade and are worth skipping.
