The Original Pancake House Restaurant Review

: The Original Pancake House offers many of the same pancake combinations as IHOP, but the quality is more than a cut above, and selections travel far beyond just the sweet stuff. Eggs any style, kick-ass breakfast potatoes, and the fluffiest pancakes around make this one of suburban South Florida's premiere destinations for breakfast and brunch. Packed with early risers every day of the week, most booths feature at least a kid or an open newspaper, and few seem concerned with socializing or mingling; they’re just here to eat. The signature Dutch Baby, an airy oven-baked bowl-shaped pancake, is served with whipped butter, powdered sugar and lemon. An also plate-size sautéed apple-cinnamon-topped pancake is steaming hot and as puffy as a soufflé. Snappy truck stop-style service assures that the tables will turn quickly. Other locations.
