THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Original Sports Saloon Restaurant Review:
As the name suggests, this is one of those bars with TV sets tuned to sports with a heavy emphasis on the local scene. But before you think burger and fries, this sports bar is actually worth visiting for slow-cooked barbecue. The pulled pork is North Carolina perfect while the brisket is full of flavor even if a bit tough. It has ribs, adequate sides (including marinated cucumbers) and good beer choice. If youd rather not chow down in the company of a bunch of guys wearing baseball caps and staring at the Red Sox, you can go down two doors to Tennessees and get the same selections to go.
