Osteria Posto Restaurant Review:

Chef/owner Joe Cassinelli's dishes shine at this Italian-inspired restaurant in Waltham. He focuses on shared plates, charcuterie, handmade pastas and hearty dishes. Get started with a Blood, Sweat and Tequila cocktail or a gin martini to go along with a sampling of lamb meatballs or mushroom arancini. For main events, we recommend the juicy sirloin with roasted potatoes and Marsala truffle sauce. Paella swordfish risotto is full of chorizo and squid in a spicy clam brodo. Other dishes include roast chicken, grilled pork chop with Parmesan polenta, Tuscan seafood stew and salmon with shrimp risotto. Vegetables are served à la carte and are generous enough to share. Try the foraged and domestic mushrooms, fingerling potatoes or slow-roasted heirloom carrots, but be sure to save room for the warm apple crostata with vanilla ice cream.
