Situated off the lobby of the JW Marriott Indianapolis, Osteria Pronto is a hotel restaurant that also draws the locals. The open kitchen, inviting brown and gold tones, and efficient service provide the backdrop for Italian-with-an-Indiana-twist fare. Locally made sausage teams with roasted mushrooms and garganelli, a pasta starter that makes a meal when paired with a salad of organic greens, prosciutto, chickpeas, olives and mozzarella with a balsamic emulsion. Roasted chicken and lamb chops with Gorgonzola polenta are two examples of why this dining room is so popular with travelers and residents alike. It's even an ideal stop after the theater for a gelato, lava cake or old-fashioned donuts and espresso or Courvoisier.
