Outdoor Dining in Pasadena, California, Allowed Despite LA County Restaurant Closure Orders

Pasadena, CA, November 30, 2020
The city of Pasadena, California, has its own public health department and decided to not follow the Los Angeles County order to close in-person dining at restaurants, even if it is outdoors, for at least three weeks as of November 26, 2020.
Chef/owner Ian Gresik of The Arbour in Pasadena has rearranged the large sidewalk in front of the restaurant, offering a secured and actually pleasant outdoor dining patio. I got to experience it a few days ago. The inside is quite beautiful with a striking bar. I won’t forget to return and dine inside when the COVID-19 health crisis is over.
I will not, here, make any political comment or statement, but it is reasonable to say that we should all follow the (now unfortunately famous) “social distancing guidelines,” that includes wearing a mask when in public.
