P.J.'s Oyster Bar Restaurant Review:
PJ's has long been a popular spot for beach-goers. Its casual atmosphere and old Florida menu could always be counted on to be tasty and reliable. Diners were greeted with a full-size statue of The Blues Brothers (from film fame) out front and walls covered with autographed dollar bills that were later donated to a local charity. PJ's has now moved across the street from its old location of more than 20 years. The façade suggests two floors, but the restaurant is still on the ground level and is more spread out with a wide outdoor dining area. The emphasis, as the name suggests, is on seafood: oysters Rockefeller and Chicago-style oysters, U Peel ’Em boiled shrimp, steamed mussels and calamari. There are gator bites and fried cheese sticks, too --- all the things that taste great after a day at the beach.
