Overstuffed sandwiches and soups served in crusty bread bowls are this fresh-faced bakery-café chain's claim to fame. The menu also offers seasonal salads and will periodically change things up with new creations and such seasonal specials as a chicken salad with strawberries and poppy seeds, lemon chicken and orzo soup, and a breakfast sandwich with egg whites, Vermont white cheddar, avocado and spinach. Meanwhile, at the bakery counter, an array of more than a dozen breads meets its match in abundant pastries, from sweet muffins and bear claws to cookies and fruit tarts.
