With its kelly-green wooden banquette, tawny walls and dark ceiling, this sweet and tiny South Ender is a truly romantic destination with candles on every table and strings of white lights on the plants. The menu, befitting the room is quite small, but the steak frites is classic. It’s popular with couples-both gay and straight-who come here to be coddled by friends. With parking difficult at best, it’s a true neighborhood find. The long-running weekend brunch is also very popular.
