About the restaurant: Part & Parcel is situated in the ever-evolving South Market area of downtown. Orange, black and a lot of grey create the minimalist décor in the narrow deli.

Food & Drinks: Phillip Lopez is a chef who is careful about the projects to which he attaches his name. He is best known for the successful restaurants Root and Square Root, and this modern gourmet deli is a departure. Lopez’s food is deeply flavorful, and the ingredient combinations are unique. Eat in or carry out your choice of truly original sandwiches, from a barbecued shrimp and lobster hoagie to a more complex creation called The Corleone featuring thick layers of wild boar prosciutto, salami, roasted rosemary ham, provolone cheese, garlic basil pesto, lettuce, tomato, red onions and pickled peppers. Sides are as rich as the sandwiches, such as a Cajun potato salad and an Italian pasta salad with cauliflower, broccoli, sweet peppers, artichoke hearts and oregano. There’s a very long bar where you can get a decent glass of wine. Finish with an Italian ice of the day and some Italian fig cookies.
