Everything in this restaurant is done right: The simple tables and chairs in blond wood, the stone wall, the black-and-white photos of Italian scenes, the menu with absolutely no misspellings in Italian. And, the food---simple and savory. The menu changes often, but flavors we’ve savored include an excellent ravioli stuffed with Gorgonzola and ricotta, then topped with finely diced fresh tomato---a delight. A piece of sirloin steak with a balsamic vinegar reduction was cooked perfectly, and so was the broccoli. Nothing shouts. Nothing is overdone. There’s a balance of tastes, textures and aromas. Some very good wines are available by the glass, most from Tuscany.
