THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Peter Chang's Tasty China II Restaurant Review:

Peter Chang, who once plied his trade at the Chinese embassy in Washington, D.C., traveled around the Southeast cooking at various locations before returning to Atlanta to open his eponymous establishment. While the menu includes a page devoted to American-Chinese dishes, why come here for those? Instead, choose something from several categories and then share the bounty. From the "Snack" section, the scallion bubble pancake with curry sauce caught our attention. What arrived was a plate-size round of puffed dough with a green curry sauce for dipping. Pork belly in chili garlic “mud,” a cold appetizer, presents tender, paper-thin slices of meat in a spicy, garlicky oil. For a main dish, we opted for fried duck with Sichuan salty pepper and cilantro. The dish was, in fact, quite peppery, as the menu warned with a double chili pepper symbol, and the duck was crisp and moist. A choice of protein, whether chicken, seafood or meat, may vary by the dish. Tofu and vegetarian offerings abound. Sundry sweet items for dessert are available, and most are based on red bean paste.
