Peter’s is one of those wonderful places where you can go for a superb meal and linger over a fine brandy after dinner. Or if short on time, stop at the bar for a quick martini and a scrumptious bowl of soup or seafood appetizer before attending a concert or catching a movie. Whatever the choice, this is the place to be seen and to enjoy great food. Food is taken seriously at Peter’s, as is the service. Restaurateur Peter George selects his professional wait staff as carefully as executive chef Dave Foegley selects the ingredients for his masterfully prepared dishes. The cuisine thrives on using fresh ingredients that are indigenous to the Midwest. The dining room has a contemporary yet upscale feel while the screened in veranda offers a glimpse of the herb garden and wooded area behind the restaurant. The menu changes seasonally and always includes a vegetarian entrée. The fresh-baked breads are wonderful with the selection changing during the meal as fresh loaves come out of the oven.
