THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pete's Southside Restaurant Review:

Pete’s is a very casual, Formica table-top place that sits next to (and in contrast to) the tonier Café Roma. Chances are, owner/chef Pete Kelley himself will be manning the stoves and serving up the tasty Mexican fare: shrimp tacos, beef enchiladas and black-bean burritos that are a notch above. The locals go for a touch of the islands---Caribbean, that is---with dishes like grilled snapper and plantains.
