Petite Chou Bistro & Champagne Bar Restaurant Review

: This neighborhood find is the place to gather for unique breakfasts, healthful lunches, inspired dinners and happy hour with friends. Start with an Alsatian hand pie of roasted chicken and sauerkraut in fromage blanc, or delightful mushroom duxelles on country bread. Boeuf bourguignon is hearty with braised beef, pearl onions and house-made noodles. Pork roulade pairs with spinach, truffle butter and an apple cider reduction, while the seafood stew has mussels, shrimp, white fish and potatoes in a tomato saffron broth that’s good to the very last drop. The wine list is brief yet it presents a nice selection, and the cocktails are first-rate. Dessert choices include a cheese platter, sweet crêpes, lemon tart and a hot fudge gelato sundae in puff pastry topped with brittle.
