Petty Cash Taqueria Restaurant Review

: Petty Cash, which bills itself as a “semi-authentic taqueria,” was inspired by trips to Tijuana that San Diego native Walter Manzke took as a youth. (He and Margarita Manzke are also behind République and Sari Sari Store.) Kick things off with nachos or selections from the ceviche bar. The tacos are made with handcrafted tortillas and fillings like carne asada, braised beef tongue, grilled mushrooms and charcoal grilled octopus. Don't miss the buñuelos (fried donut holes) with chocolate dipping sauce for dessert.
