THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Phil's Grill Restaurant Review:

Phil's Grill has been doing bang-up business in the suburbs of Metairie for quite a long time. Now city dwellers as well are getting a taste of Phil's huge burgers and oversize side items (try the spicy potato salad and crunchy coleslaw). The Warehouse District location is just like its original namesake, where you get to build your own burger by choosing your meat (Angus beef, tuna, veggie, alligator --- yes, alligator --- and more). You also get to select all the toppings from the usual suspects such as fairly commonplace onions and pickles to the more exotic materials including fried eggs, pecan-smoked bacon and even havarti cheese. There are other options on the menu, too, including nachos, a Caesar salad and fried pickle chips, but whatever you do, be sure to try one of Phil's creamy, thick cookies and cream milk shakes for dessert. Also, you can ask for a shot of Kahlúa, Baileys or Chambord in your milk shake. Phil's has a menu of signature musician-inspired cocktails, too.
