Aleo Restaurant Review:

Aleo, a name derived from the owner’s parents’ first names, presents a menu that focuses on southern Italy (also the home of the owner’s parents) as well as Cyprus and, most improbably, Queens. Yet it somehow all works harmoniously. Dishes include pappardelle with pancetta, sweet peas, crimini mushrooms, onions and Parmesan cream sauce, and New Zealand baby lamb chops atop roasted potatoes, cumin-marinated carrots and tzatziki sauce. Chill out at the bar or in the garden with some colorful cocktails.
