About the restaurant: Blue Duck Tavern is part of the Park Hyatt Washington, D.C., located in the West End Georgetown neighborhood. In addition to a lounge, the restaurant has seasonal outdoor seating, a semi-private dining room for up to six guests, and a Chef’s Table situated adjacent to the open kitchen that seats up to six guests.

Food & Drinks: Guests can enjoy seasonal American cuisine from chef de cuisine Andrew Cleverdon and Jean-Claude Plihon, the director of culinary and food & beverage at Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. Dinner may start with the likes of smoked beets with ashed yogurt, blood orange, spiced walnuts and sorghum vinaigrette. Entrées compete for attention, ranging from whole fish roasted in a wood oven to dry-aged beef tenderloin. Desserts have included apple pie for two and Virginia peanut chocolate cake. Lunches propose the restaurant’s famed burger and an array of heartier mains, such as roasted chicken and duck confit, plus some vegetarian dishes. Breakfasts and brunches bring options from eggs to pancakes to sticky buns, complemented by special teas and coffees.
