Cappyccino's Bistro & Bar Restaurant Review:

Suave single malts and tony tequilas are the nominal excuse for gathering at this neighborhood nexus: sure it’s a bar, but it’s also a coffeehouse, an art gallery and a place to relax with friends in a smoke-free environment filled with light and animated conversation. In the manner of most bars, the food doesn’t change much. White bean chili has long been a staple, while appetizers include shrimp cocktail with a chipotle cocktail sauce and a poblano-chicken quesadilla. The Kobe beef burger has been dropped, leaving us with an antelope burger served with bacon-tomato jam; a wild boar pizza with pickled grapes and Fontina brings an additional touch of the Hill Country to the ’hood. Desserts include several crêpes, lemon drop among them, on the solid side, while liquid assets run the gamut from ports and high-end scotches to Irish coffee. Kick back in a booth or on the outdoor deck --- a posh backyard for the cell phone set.
