Dreamland Bar-B-Que Restaurant Review:
Break off a piece of loaf bread and dip it in the tangy, vinegar-based sauce and you know you’re at Dreamland. Ribs, made famous by the original in Tuscaloosa, are the draw, but the Mobile location offers more varied choices. There’s tasty sausage, chopped pork, chicken, wings and more. Ribs come in sandwiches or slabs. Settle in with half a smoked chicken, or just dive into a pile of wings. Barbecue quesadillas are available too. Sides include baked beans, coleslaw, fries, mac ‘n’ cheese and potato salad. Banana pudding or pecan pie topped with ice cream finish the meal with a sweet touch. Alas, this location has none of the good Alabama brews, although others are available.
