THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED A drinking man’s pub that specializes in brewing its own, GB has tapped into a gaming/brew-loving local crowd. With its numerous overhead TVs and its outdoor steel casks, GB sets the scene for its typical bar-food menu, starting with the requisite fried calamari and chicken wings, though we rather fancy the Southwest egg rolls, a combo of black beans, pepperjack cheese and pulled chicken wrapped up together for tasty treats. Burger specials are fine for the main course, unless you crave something bolder, such as the flame-grilled NY strip or the chicken Parmesan. We enjoy the goat cheese ravioli with mushrooms, and finish with warm apple bread pudding, wishing for more of the caramel sauce. Perhaps the neatest part of a meal here is to try the beer samplers, shot glasses with several house favorites.
