This charming, colorful café is a neighborhood staple. The bar stools, corn-husk light fixtures and Mexican folk art set the mood for some seriously creative and fun Mexican fare. Sure, you can get a burrito fix at Rocking Horse, but we suggest taking advantage of such sophisticated items as the enchiladas made with pomegranate-charred free-range chicken, guajillo salsa, refried beans and pickled cabbage; or the pan-seared chile-crusted tuna with chorizo poblano wild rice and sweet corn emulsion. For dessert, ordinary Mexican flan is dressed up with pistachio brittle and a coconut tuile.
