Though it's a bit confusing trying to figure out where to order what at this Latin café and bakery, the servers are quite friendly and offer guidance. Arepas, dense corn turnovers grilled to a delicate crunch, and fried yucca are staples that make for good snacking. Assorted pastries and breads are made fresh daily and are just right with a cup of hot chocolate. A wide selection of cakes includes a rich, creamy cheesecake dulce de leche topped with glossy caramel sauce. This can be a rambunctious place on game days since it’s a destination to watch a soccer match, but it’s nothing that a cold beer from south of the border or some strong Columbian coffee can’t make better.
