THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pier 9 Restaurant Review:

Chef Paolo Nozzoli prepares seafood with a twist, bringing Italian finesse to this sexy restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen. A lively lounge area and DJ music during brunch and late night add to the cool, young ambience. Among the numerous appetizers, grilled octopus in a salad of frisée, cherry tomatoes and caperberries; and charred soy beans, covered in a messy, finger-licking ginger-soy sauce, stand out for their colorful presentation. Rich, creamy lobster mac 'n' cheese can easily pass as an entrée. Lighter and with an interesting blend of flavors, tuna tartare combines spicy aïoli, guacamole and olive tapenade. For the main event, the horseradish-crusted Scottish salmon is fresh and moist, while pastas and grass-fed rib-eye with salsa verde provide non-seafood options. Knowledgeable sommelier and manager Elton Mesiti offers an evolving wine menu that spans the globe. Cocktails and desserts continue the spirit: try the sparkly “Fresamenta” with muddled strawberries, vodka and mint to begin, and the s’mores donut and ice cream to finish your meal.
