THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pita Hut Restaurant Review:
Despite the obvious play on a mainstream restaurant chain’s name, this Israeli eatery in no way resembles a pizza place: its abbreviated menu features fresh salads and hummus, falafel and shwarma, Iraqi kebabs and fried chicken. But what makes this place a “must” destination are the hot pita breads, snatched by the baker right out of the ovens: hot and meltingly tender, the doughy disks hold mouthfuls of hummus but are just dandy eaten solo. For the dietary conscious, all foods served here are under Rabbinical supervision and are kosher. For the budget conscious, you can eat very well and very abundantly, and for not much money.
