PJ’s Coffee & Tea Co., a locally owned chain, introduced New Orleans to the modern-day concept of a coffeehouse purveying a wide range of beans, roasts and flavor additives. It has thrived in a dozen or more franchised locations throughout the city, each with its own personality but each carrying the full roster of PJ’s selections. The hot coffees list changes every day, with three freshly roasted brews offered. Our favorite on a sultry New Orleans summer day is the Viennese blend iced coffee, with a splash of Melipone vanilla.
