Poke Stop Restaurant Review:

Chef-owner Elmer Guzman honed his culinary chops in the kitchens of Alan Wong and Emeril Lagasse. Known locally as "The Shoreline Chef" for his expertise with seafood, Guzman opened the first of his two casual seafood deli-style spots in Waipahu where take-out is the only real option. His second location in the easily accessible Mililani Mauka neighborhood is cheerful and offers dine-in seating. While the menu board is large, don't miss the daily specials---this is where the best dishes are found. If you are lucky, the fried fish of the day will be whole fried moi with a lemon-soy dipping sauce. If the Poke Stop fish 'n’ chips is on the menu, you'll be treated to pieces of tempura-coated ahi served with eggplant fries and a spicy Hawaiian chili pepper rémoulade. Seafood salads, sandwiches and bento boxes are also available for those seeking to create a picnic lunch for a jaunt to the North Shore. Don't miss the cheesecake slices made especially for the restaurant, especially the red velvet version.
