There's so much foot and auto traffic here that this stand-alone site resembles a shopping mall. You'll have no trouble interpreting the enthusiasm of the crowds, many of whom depart with sacks full of hot fried chicken, which is, of course, what this Guatemalan import is all about. Fried chicken, and tons of it, selling at such a pace that the kitchen staff must work at a fever pitch to chop and fry to keep up with demand. If you're in the mood for something lighter, consider trying the citrus-infused grilled chicken. Seating at mealtimes is as scarce as, well, hen's teeth, so your best option is eat at the stand-up dining counter, or take out for at-home munching. Either way, add on the horchata, a rich, icy sort-of chocolate drink and a carton of chilled dulce de leche, the Latin caramel dessert.
