The Pool Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

The Pool Bar & Grill abides by the house-made/California-local ethos of its parent restaurant, Madera, but its environment is casual, attached to the pool, and open to hotel guests and visitors. We like the house-made tortilla chips, guacamole and salsa, as well as the short rib quesadillas, although their seasoning can come off as heavy-handed. An extensive list of poolside-appropriate cocktails and drinks, and a kids’ menu for the ten-and-under set, round out the offerings. Order carefully --- the prices will remind you that you are dining at the Rosewood Sand Hill. Weekdays, a to-go menu includes custom sandwiches at a relative value ($10.50 with two meats, vegetables and fixings). On Saturdays and Sundays, The Pool Bar & Grill is open exclusively to hotel guests.
