On a busy stretch of Townsend Street near the CalTrain station and AT&T Park sits Popsons Burgers, a former pop-up from the Causwells team. They’re griddling up a mighty tasty and good-looking burger, with a thin, fast food-style patty with meaty flavor and a substantial crust. The burgers are available as singles or doubles (get the double) and come with lettuce, onion, pickles and special sauce, with the option of American cheese. There is also a bacon and blue cheese version, and a vegetarian patty for diners of that persuasion. Sodas, beer, wine, fries, onion rings and chili round out the choices.
