![]() : Set away from the casino on the floor above, the space has a warm ambience with rich mahogany wall panels and the room is surrounded by semi-private booths. A good start is the stuffed artichoke hearts, lightly breaded and filled with Boursin herbed cheese. Entrées are a good value; each comes with a choice of salad or soup and baked or mashed potatoes or julienne of vegetables. Salads, tossed tableside, can be ordered as a meal, and are not the usual side salad, with the spinach salad containing dried cherries, candied pecans, peaches and apple cider vinaigrette. The name is a fitting description of this steakhouse, as five cuts of prime rib are served, including one grilled with Creole spices, a thick 16-oz. slice and a massive 26-oz. cut presented bone-in. There are other options, too, such as pan-fried chicken Francaise with lemon butter sauce and chipotle glazed Pacific salmon with lime cream sauce. A reasonably priced wine selection of more than 50 bottles is available and a rotating monthly special offers bottles for $20. Be sure to save room for the white chocolate and raspberry tartufo: Italian ice cream with raspberry sauce and seasonal berries. |
