THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Pullman Kitchen Restaurant Review:

Owner Darren McRonald and chef John Trunk, friends whose résumés share upstate New York's Tinhorn, Manhattan's Bellavitae and, locally, Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen, helm this California-Mediterranean-inspired bistro. The contemporary, intimate space features blue-gray walls, aluminum chairs and pops of red throughout. The dining car theme resonates in the main room with a captivating, backlit trestle bridge print and a railway crossing sign over the patio. The rustic menu is as comforting as the lively camaraderie. For starters, try the wedge salad with iceberg lettuce, Maytag blue cheese and Louie dressing, or the mussels steamed in wine, garlic and herbs. The house specialty, Pullman roasted chicken, is righteously served in its own jus and complemented with savory spinach-Parmesan pancakes. Fish tacos are freshened with cabbage lime slaw and spiced up a notch with chipotle aïoli. Wines emphasize Sonoma County and the Mediterranean while beers stay strictly local. If you find room for dessert, the double chocolate budino is sure to put a smile on your face. For a quieter meal, dine on the patio, also an ideal option for larger groups.
