THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Q.C. Szechwan Restaurant Review:

This modest but comfortable Chinese restaurant on busy El Camino Real is a vegetarian's mecca: Its special insert menu lists 22 veggie dishes, including such hard-to-find items as Hunan-style potatoes, broccoli and carrots in spicy peanut sauce, and piquant honey mushrooms. We enjoy any of these, followed, perhaps, by pan-fried noodles---with more veggies. But this is not to deny the attractions of Q.C. Szechwan's meat preparations, among which we particularly like the tangerine peel chicken, hot peanutty pork and the stir-fry of chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables in a suave brown sauce.
