The tag line says it all: Rainforest Café is a wild place to shop and eat. This branch located in Downtown Disney is a fun spot to take the kids after a day of rides at Disneyland or California Adventure. They’ll like the giant waterfall and periodic thunder and lightning storms, during which all of the tropical animals move and make noise. The primary draw here is the ambience, but you’ll also find Caribbean cocktails for the adults and an extensive menu featuring pastas, chops and sandwiches, as well as some more exotic dishes like Caribbean-style coconut shrimp. Save room for the “volcano” sundae served with lots of chocolate sauce. As you leave, don’t forget to check out the shop for items from around the world.
