: Inspired by London’s gastropubs that promise fine food along with alcohol, owners James and Julie Petrakis crafted this cozy spot that keeps the crowds happy. The couple trained at the Culinary Institute of America and their creativity shines with a menu that changes with whatever’s freshest at the market --- many of their ingredients are grown in and around Orlando. The menu offers choices such as steak frites, grilled whole sea trout, and agnolotti filled with locally grown corn. For starters, nibble rich Gruyère biscuits and share a platter of the interesting charcuterie, which is all made in house. For dessert, try the pigtails --- cinnamon-sugar-dusted curlicue fritters with chocolate espresso sauce for dipping. The menu also features microbrews and nice wine matches for the cuisine, plus creative cocktails. |
