There seems to be a Ray's Pizza on every corner in Manhattan claiming to be the Original Ray's or the Real Ray's or the Famous Ray's, but this landmark pizza joint has been serving up an excellent slice since 1959. The pizza counter is attached to a small sit-down restaurant where diners can enjoy pies or other reasonably priced basic Italian fare.
