The Red Door Restaurant Review

: Behind the red door, this neighborhood restaurant surprises at every turn. The relaxed but tasteful setting evokes the feel of a friend's bright and airy home; servers are unobtrusive yet buttoned-up and savvy. A farm-to-table philosophy rings true, as the kitchen makes use of sustainable produce, pairing it with quality meats and fish. Diners may encounter dishes like flatbread with basil pesto, Fontina and house-made sausage; eggplant Parmesan; beef Wellington; and vegan quinoa. A California-centric wine list stays true to the restaurant’s ethos by focusing on labels from organic and sustainable vineyards, and also favors nice selections from Baja's wine country, Guadalupe Valley.
