It smacks a bit of English, as in Great Britain, and the bar has some of that British pub feel. A neighborhood kind of place where the welcome mat is always out, Red Lion serves good draft beers and a broad selection of bottled beer too. The fare, like the friendly service, is pure pub---burgers, onion rings, shepherd’s pie and fish ‘n’ chips. Watch for open mics and literary readings.
