THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Reds on the River Restaurant Review:
Elegant and romantic sums up the vibe at Reds on the River, which is known for its hand-cut, aged steaks served sizzling at your table. However, the fruits of the sea, flown in daily, also take center stage (we like the fried calamari, in particular). Start with the lobster roll, its huge chunks of lobster combined with a crunchy exterior. Equally impressive is the maple-roasted carrot and ginger cream soup, a steaming hot delicacy poured by your server from an elegant silver pitcher. If you can, grab a seat on the expansive deck overlooking the scenic Rogue River. A definite hot-spot on warm, sunny days, the restaurant is equally appealing in winter, when evenings are spent warmed by the massive circular fireplace surrounding the main dining room. Either way, dig into pork tenderloin, roasted rack of lamb, steaks, scallops or gourmet salads. There’s an extensive selection of wines and cocktails, too. Reds on the River also offers a cooking/wine school.
