Renditions, per its slogan, strives to deliver a little bit of the unexpected to every dish. Comfort foods like fried chicken become chicken-fried chicken with pepper gravy and mashers; fried oysters are crusted with pistachios and served with spicy slaw and corn pudding. Lighter fare includes basic appetizers like mozzarella sticks, calamari and Buffalo wings. A turkey, Gouda and arugula quesadilla is palate-pleasing. Three salads---house, Caesar or mixed greens---can be topped with portobellos, oysters, chicken and more for a healthy meal. Wraps and sandwiches are also served in a hip, renovated setting.
