Do check out this Wolfgang Puck venture at the Museum of Contemporary Art --- if for no other reason than the view of the lake in the distance. Italian and Asian influences strike deep into the menu, which tends to be seafood-heavy. There is a fine-tasting smoked salmon pizza with dill cream and caviar, a burger with garlic aïoli and Vermont cheddar, and pan-seared scallops with sage-butternut squash gnocchi. This also is a nice place to head to when shopping on Michigan Avenue or for Sunday buffet brunch, when dishes like Tuscan-style eggs Benedict are on offer. Tuesday evenings during summer usher in a special terrace menu and live jazz series.
