Revery Restaurant Review:

Taste buds get a playful treat at Revery, from the flavored popcorn that greets diners at the table to a sample of cotton candy after the meal. In between, guests are invited to mix and match such small plates as pig tails with General Tso's sauce and a sprinkle of sesame to foie gras on house-made brioche or calamari tubes and tentacles tossed with sweetened wasabi and served over arugula with a ginger vinaigrette. Children have their own menu while grown-ups have the choice of such standards as beef tri-tip to veal and mushroom meatloaf with creamed potatoes and carrots, or fried pork belly accompanied by white bean ragoût and black kale-fennel salad. While the three dining rooms offer plenty of light, there still is an intimacy in this beautifully restored historic space. Enjoy the friendliness and relish the upscale dining that also offers a surprisingly adequate list of wines to accompany any selection.
