: A charming, historic strip center is home to Revolution Doughnuts. Among the wide variety of flavors and types of doughnuts, in the cake-type division is the salted caramel and another one covered with sliced almonds. Yeast doughnuts have a contender for our attention, too, in the caramel bacon number. Gluten-free and vegan options are available, though the latter have a texture we find a bit less appealing. Founder Maria Moore Riggs uses quality ingredients, such as organic flour and Callebaut chocolate, and everything is made by hand. Lines form early, so be warned.
