Ricardo's of Las Vegas Restaurant Review

: Inviting guests to "eat, drink and be mariachi," owner Bob Ansara, who named Ricardo's for a partner and family friend, offers rustic Mexican-Southwestern cuisine amid a sunny décor. The renowned margaritas are created with 100 percent Blue Agave Tequila in a dozen flavors including peach, coconut, banana and guava. We like the traditional bean dip --- pinto beans cooked with homemade chorizo, onions, chilies, spices and cheese. The “sampler de Ricardo’s” includes nachos, beef taquitos, beef quesadilla, jalapeño poppers, chicken wings, guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Among longtime signature dishes is the "pollo de Ricardo’s," with chicken breast sautéed in wine, butter and spices, topped with tomato, avocado and cheese, presented in a tortilla basket. We also recommend the fish tacos made with seasoned halibut, crowned with cabbage and cilantro sauce. Breakfast items include huevos rancheros and machaca (shredded beef) con huevos. Refresh your palate with Ricardo’s fried ice cream or flan with whipped cream. A magician entertains on Friday and Saturday nights.
