Ritrovo Restaurant Review

: Ritrovo brings to the table much of what has made its sibling, Richard's Pub & Restaurant, such a long-term success: good prices, quality food and a nice atmosphere. What makes it different is a more upscale aura and a greater focus on Italian cuisine. Start with a Peroni on draft as you settle into your seats in the mostly open dining room, where the wood floors, tables, chairs and trim glow under soft lighting, even though the ambience leans more toward pub than restaurant. If you're in for a quick bite, the salads and sandwiches are mostly priced under $10 and won't disappoint. We like the build-your-own pasta option, but if you want the chef to do the thinking for you, the menu includes half a dozen Italian seafood dishes, as well as the classic Parmigiana/Marsala/piccata/saltimbocca options for chicken and veal. The wine list contains a respectable 40 or so vintages, all available by the glass or bottle. For dessert, it's mostly cake. There are no real surprises here, but if you're out to watch the game and want to do better than typical pub food, Ritrovo is a solid option.
