RIZE Thai & Sushi Infusion

RIZE Thai & Sushi Infusion Restaurant Review:

The former Lattitude Thai Restaurant in Santa Monica has been transformed into RIZE Thai & Sushi Infusion. The space has a hipper, organic look with brick walls, rustic woods and Edison light bulbs. Seating is available at the sushi bar, an L-shaped counter and at tall and regular tables. Start off with the fresh lemon pepper hamachi from the sushi section of the menu. On the Thai side, the roti bread can be a little greasy, while the tom sabz pork rib soup is a touch too sweet. Fried enoki mushrooms bring extra texture to the som tum (green papaya salad). Moving on to the mains, the "South Sea Surf & Turf" presents sautéed shrimp and chicken with green beans in curry sauce. On our visit, the turmeric sea bass was still partly frozen in the center. End on a sweet note with black sticky rice with mango. There are saké selections and a limited wine list plus some craft beers and cider on tap. Delivery is offered within two miles of the restaurant.
