As with all Rocklands’ eateries, this Rockville branch stars those mighty-good ribs that have given this restaurant group such local cred. They are worth a trip if you live outside the immediate metro area, and if you are in the vicinity of any of the locations, make a bee-line straight in for a rack of smoky ribs---smoking right before your eyes---with such sides as the crunchy coleslaw, the Texas corn pudding (our pick), potato salad, mashed potatoes, or the red beans with rice. You can turn to beef ribs or grilled chicken, of course, but if you are a pork fan, those ribs must be the reason that people convert to barbecue. There’s not much in the way of dessert, but you’ll probably not have room for anything besides pork and sides anyway.
