ROKU has taken over the former RivaBella space in West Hollywood bordering Beverly Hills. This restaurant from Innovative Dining Group features favorites from the Sushi Roku menu, such as crispy rice topped with spicy tuna, as well as a six-course omakase meal. Tantalizing appetizers of salmon caviar or toro tartare prepared tableside are a good way to start. A-5 Japanese Wagyu and Santa Barbara spot prawns are prepared teppanyaki style and served with a number of complements, ranging from kale salad to dipping sauces in flavors like truffle-chimichurri and miso-mustard. Additionally, choose from cold selections (beet tartare) or hot dishes (roasted butternut squash and kabocha). Finish with a matcha tiramisu. Wine, saké, beers, Japanese whiskies and cocktails are available like an Old Osaka or Pacific Scorpion.
