Rosebud Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Tucked just off of the Mag Mile, this Rosebud venture takes a different tact when it comes to steakhouse fare, starting with massive, per-piece Madagascar prawns. Weighing in at about six ounces each, the head-on crustaceans lounge on a bed of ice alongside pickled mustard seed-inflected tomato jam. Juicy, brined pork chops are a must. Ditto a side of duck confit-topped hash browns. Beautifully marbled Prime steaks, chicken Vesuvio and a double-cut veal chop with truffled mushroom jus are a notch above your average steakhouse fare. Be sure to finish with a slice of cookie-crusted banana cream pie. And do peruse the wine list, which leans Californian and is more than 300 bottles strong.
